Happy Birch Bay Buyers from CA

Steve did a wonderful job helping us purchase a new home in Birch Bay, Washington. We currently live in California and were searching for a home to use as a rental which we could eventually retire to. Since we were not intimately familiar with the areas we were searching in, we relied on Steve’s  thoughtful and helpful feedback and the various areas in and around Bellingham as we researched homes. We flew into Washington on a big house-hunting weekend and Steve took us to view somewhere around 20 properties in two short days. It was a long haul, but throughout, Steve remained upbeat, professional and a pleasure to work with. Once we selected a home, Steve got the paperwork going immediately, knowing we were flying back home the next day, even though it was past 10:00 p.m., and afterwards, he guided us professionally through the process until we closed escrow. Two weeks after escrow closed, we flew back to Washington to get the keys. Unfortunately, the home was still filled with a lot of items from the former homeowners who were not able to do a good job cleaning the interior and exterior. All kinds of personal items, electronics, and old, wet wood and building supplies were everywhere. Since we were only there for two days and needed to get the home ready to use as a rental, we were at a loss as to what to do. Steve to the rescue! He rented a cargo van and then, in the rain, spent an entire day moving the old owners’ belongs out for us. It was dirty and exhausting work, but he remained cheerful and told us it was “part of the job”. Overall, in every way, we just cannot say enough about the high level of customer service Steve brings to the table. It’s really too bad there are only 5 stars available….anyone seeking to find a new home will be in good hands with Steve.
