  • Go to One of Blaine’s Great Restaurants! Blaine WA may be small, but it still has plenty of fantastic restaurants. Some of my personal favorites are: Peace Arch City Café & Bar (http://www.peacearchcitycafe.com/), Edaleen Dairy (https://www.edaleendairy.com/), Big Al’s Diner (http://bigalsdiner.com/), Paso Del Norte (http://pasodelnorte.net/), and Drayton Harbor Oyster Company (https://www.draytonharboroysters.com/). There are more, including a Starbucks and an amazing pizza place, so you should check them out as well as the restaurants I’ve listed above. All of these restaurants have incredible food and service, and are enjoyed by anyone who goes to them.
  • Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club (https://www.semiahmoo.com/).  The Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club is one of the best golf courses in all of Whatcom County. If you would like to read more about golf courses around Blaine click here: https://peacearchrealestate.com/3-of-the-best-golf-courses-in-whatcom-county/. Besides the golf course, there is also a beautiful resort. The resort has lots of fun things to do such as a pool, spa, theater, kids club, movie night (every Friday and Saturday), and more! Whether you are visiting Blaine or you live here, you should definitely check out Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club and their resort.
  • Go to Peace Arch Park. Peace Arch Park is a wonderful park with the iconic Peace Arch Monument. You can go there and walk around, bird-watch, take pictures of the Peace Arch, and more! There are also concerts going on there as a part of the annual Peace Arch Concert Series (for more information visit the Blaine Chamber of Commerce site:  https://www.blainechamber.com/).  Also, there is the annual Peace Arch Park International Sculpture Exhibition https://www.thenorthernlight.com/coming-up/peace-arch-park-international-sculpture-exhibition-through-october-1st-2019/.
  • Plover Ferry Ride. The historic Plover Ferry was built in 1944, and is owned by the city of Blaine. She is 11 tons, and fits 17 passengers. The ride goes back and forth from Blaine to the former Alaska Packers Association (APA) Salmon Cannery on Semiahmoo Spit. The ride/views are incredible, and gorgeous. Plus, after the captain has steered the boat out of the harbor into open waters, any kid has the chance to steer the ship! For more information: http://draytonharbormaritime.com/

There are plenty more things to do in Blaine, WA, but I wanted to share some of my favorites. Make sure to check out Blaine, and if you already live here, great!
