Earth Week Activities Starting This Sunday! – Bellingham WA

The City of Bellingham will be hosting a week of local activities to celebrate Earth Day. This year’s theme for the event is “Invest in Our Planet” and there will be numerous free activities for all ages during the week of April 17th-April 23rd. These activities include a volunteer work party at Fairhaven Park to help restore Padden Creek, a community art project at the Whatcom Museum’s Lightcatcher Building, online Children’s storytimes, themed book lists, a self-guided stormwater discovery tour, and more!
