September Eat Local Month!

Sustainable Connections will be hosting a month-long event celebrating locally grown/made food and the people who make it! This event is called September Eat Local Month and it includes a restaurant week, farm week, seafood week, and market week. There will also be a Farm to Table Trail with locations ranging all over, featuring the best local businesses in Whatcom County’s food scene. With this event, you can visit lots of great places to eat and unlock prizes, discounts, and promotions each month! Resturant Week will start tomorrow, September 2nd, and will showcase chefs and restuaranters. Each restaurant participating in this Eat Local Month will feature delicious specials that have fifty percent or more local ingrediants.
